Trent Graves, Youth Coordinator
We welcome Trent Graves to our church staff as the Youth Coordinator as he began working part-time with the 6th – 12th grade CUMC youth in June 2016. His primary opportunity will be leading the youth in the Wednesday evening program so come join him at 5:30 for fun, food, fellowship, and worship. Trent’s full time employment is as the high school band director for COCISD. Andrew Main, Choir Director
Andrew hails from Portland, ME where he grew up surrounded by music. His parents were both actively involved in community theatre and their church choir, and his grandmother was the organist and choir director at their church. Andrew majored in Voice Performance and Music Education at Ithaca College in New York State, where he met Lauretta, now his wife. He moved to the Houston area in 2012 to pursue a Masters degree in Choral Conducting and to be closer to Lauretta. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2015 and is now Assistant Choir Director at Bleyl Middle School in Cy-Fair ISD and part-time Choir Director at Coldspring UMC. When he is not at church, Andrew enjoys spending time with Lauretta and their dog, Moose, watching classic movies and trying out new recipes. Andrew enjoys the powerful, spiritual nature of music. It is something that, like God, touches every living thing. Using this wonderful gift to help people come closer to God is something that brings him great job. Dr. Dan Darby, Pastor
Prior to coming to Coldspring, Dr. Dan Darby served for nine years as past of First United Methodist Church in Silsbee. He and his wife, Paula, have five children. Dr. Darby has been a United Methodist Pastor since 1978, serving numerous churches in East Texas, along with serving seven years in Clear Lake as Associate Pastor from 1990 until 1997. He is a member of the Conference Board of Church and Society and is working with the committee on immigration reform and the problem of human trafficking. He publishes a "Thought for the Day" devotional by email, which is available free upon request by writing him at email@example.com. Dan and Paula are striving to assist Coldspring United Methodist Church in making disciples for Jesus Christ.
Stacy Amszi, Administrative Secretary
Stacy began working at Coldspring United Methodist in 2004.
When you call the church office, Stacy is the voice you will hear welcome you. She handles communications, both verbal and written, which include calendaring and organizing meetings, events, and preparing the church correspondence, newsletters, worship bulletins, and much more.
Stacy is married to Ken Amszi and they have three beautiful daughters. When she is not working, she enjoys watching her girls in their many extracurricular activities such as dance, band, athletics, and cheer.

Carri Clark, Assistant Youth Coordinator
We welcome Carri Clark to our church staff as Assistant Youth Coordinator. She grew up in the United Methodist Church and has lived in Coldspring since 2011. She and her family are active members of Coldspring UMC. Carrie leads the 6th – 12th grade Sunday morning group, and plans and leads programs such as social events, summer trips and camps. Come join Carrie Sunday mornings at 9:45 as we discuss God’s word and how it relates to our everyday lives.

Lisa Lewis, Children’s Ministry Coordinator
Lisa is currently serving in her second year as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator. Before coming on staff, she retired from her previous career of 33 years as a classroom teacher. She is a certified (1-8) elementary school teacher, and has other certifications in PK-12 English as a Second Language, PK-12 Language and Learning Disabled, and PK-12 Life Skills. Her goal in Children’s Ministry is to help each child begin to develop a personal relationship with God. This relationship begins with a strong foundation and knowledge of scripture. When not working with our children, Lisa enjoys time with her family, husband Matt, daughters Olivia and Emily, grandchildren, and extended family.
