Who we are?

 You will find that our church is first and foremost an extended family.  Our demographics include hay farmers, retired CEOs, high school band members, county road workers, retired executives from Forbes 500 companies, newborn babies, elementary through high School teachers, retired PhDs, middle school gymnasts, skilled crafters and carpenters.  We are all tied together into the family of God by the love of Jesus Christ and the knowledge that we are all sons and daughters of a Holy God.

 We all long for a place where we can feel at home – where we can be comfortable and enjoy our favorite traditions.  Many people are also looking for the spiritual meaning of life to help bring significance and joy into their hectic lives.  We believe that we offer just such a place to newcomers and long-time residents alike.  From grief to glory … from fear to faith … from loneliness to companionship … from doubt to faith … from pain to healing … these are the journeys that our families have all made.

 We invite you to come experience the unconditional love of God through prayer, worship, study, fellowship and service in this family known as the Coldspring United Methodist Church.
